October 11 is International Day of the Girl. This year’s theme is “With Her: A Skilled Girl Force”, join as we stand with girls everywhere as they inspire, innovate and take charge of the future.
Girls and women are innovating changes to challenges around the world. They are raising their voices against violence. They are standing up for the land, the water and the environment. We see Greta Thunberg and Indigenous water activist Autumn Peltier delivering powerful speeches to the UN and inspiring action across the globe.
Let’s challenge the status quo and redefine gender roles. Let’s all actively work to make sexism a thing of the past.
