Teen Talk is Moving!

0

We would like to share that Teen Talk will be moving August 10, 2017! While we’re sad to see our office leave the old Klinic on Broadway house, we’re also excited to be joining the Sexuality Education Resource Centre (SERC) at 200-226 Osborne St, which is just a 3 minute walk away from our current site.

All of our services and programs should continue as normal with minimal disruption during the move. Our phone number will remain the same, as will our email. During the our move, our access to email may be limited. If you require immediate assistance please call us at (204) 784-4010. Our fax number will be changing to SERC’s number which is (204) 982-7819.

We continue to do fall and winter intake for bookings for Workshops and Teen Talk North Services and will be scheduling requested bookings in early September. Peer Support trainings and meet-ups will now take place at 200-226 Osborne St. with the next training starting in October.

Klinic’s Community Drop-In Counselling will also be moving in August from the Broadway location over to Klinic on Portage (KoP), 870 Portage Avenue. Services will be closed Thursday, August 17, and re-open at KoP on Friday, August 18, 12-4PM.

Community Drop-In Counselling hours at KoP are changing, effective August 18, to:
•Monday, Friday, Saturday noon-4PM
•Tuesday and Thursday noon-7PM
•Closed Wednesday, Sunday and all Saturdays that fall on a long weekend.

While we may be moving locations this summer, as part of paving the way to our future permanent move to 167 Sherbrook Street, our social justice roots and dedication to providing youth with accurate, non-judgmental information, so they can make healthier decisions and choices for themselves remains strong.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email us or phone us at (204) 784-4010.

Share.
