This May 1-7, turn up the volume. It’s the 66th Annual CMHA Mental Health Week and we’re getting loud for mental health.
During CMHA Mental Health Week, we take the time to reflect on their mental health. But we do more than just reflect. We #GETLOUD about it.
We all have to work towards building strong mental health. This includes figuring out ways to hand stress and hard times in life. When we talk openly about our mental health with people we trust, we build support for ourselves and others. Let’s all #GETLOUD for CMHA Mental Health Week! Between May 1st and May 7th, take action and use your voice to raise awareness and build support in your community.
If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, it’s important to talk with an adult you trust. This could be a parent, teacher, school counselor, someone at a Teen Clinic or a phone line. Phone lines offer support and information and are free to call. They will not judge you. Don’t worry if you don’t know what to say. Any number you call, someone will help you! .
