What if a guy didn’t want to use a condom for oral sex?

Posted on 27 November 2010 by admin

The reason we focus on condom use is that sexually transmitted infections can be passed through oral sex. Three of the most common STI that are passed from genitals to mouth are Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Herpes. Remember that you can’t always see an STI so your partner may have an STI and not even know it. The only way that anyone can know that they do not have an STI is to get tested every six months or with every new partner.

If your partner doesn’t have this information then this may be a good time to let them know why condom use is important for you because it keeps you & your partner(s) safer. From glow in the dark to flavored condoms – there can be fun for all.  Ultimately though, if your partner refuses to wear condoms, it is always okay to say no to sex.
