Teen Talk North

The Teen Talk North program provides three-day training and post-training support to Manitoba’s Northern service providers who work with youth. The training focuses on sexual health, mental health (including substance use), and healthy relationships and provides background information, games, activities, and icebreakers to use with youth.

The goals of Teen Talk Service Provider Training are to:

  • Share knowledge in the areas of sexual health, mental health (including substance use), and healthy relationships.
  • Teach strategies and approaches for working effectively with youth.
  • Support participants in their current work and create plans for moving forward.

Included with the training are Teen Talk Service Provider Manual 2018 and Teen Talk Activities Binder 2019
