When we think about how healthy we are, often we only think about the way our body feels. There is more to being healthy than just our physical health. In this section, we’re going to give some information about mental illnesses as well as explore mental health and why it is important for each and every one of us.

It’s important to learn about this as a teen because that’s when some mental illnesses start to develop. Also, the sooner someone finds out about a mental illness, the sooner they can develop a support system, positive coping methods and learn to live in their own healthy way.
